"Man-Woman", original pastel painting on paper.

This is a pastel painting that I did back in 1988, after surviving a painful divorce and custody battle.  The profiles actually represent the two best friends that helped me to see the sun on the horizon.  As an artist, I had the advantage of being able to channel my pain into my work.  However, this is one of the few pieces to survive the purging, after the healing was over.   When I look at this piece I see hope and a glorious future that came true.
