The Artist's Eye - details

At this stage of the painting, I have over 20 hrs of work. I add my smaller detail brushes, sizes 0 and up, to my repertoire for the day and begin the details. Visuallly, the changes are minimal. Can you see the differences?

I am now, for the first time, making a conscience effort to focus on abstract shapes that need correcting in shape and color. The smallest brush stroke can change the way an element looks in a painting, so this process will continue thorughout the rest of the painting’s completion.
